Would you ever elect a chimp to run your country, if one was offered against a candidate you didn't like?

Republicans elected Bush, dispite his intellectual inferiority. There's nothing wrong with this, note agreeing with Gore or Kerry, but they are intellectual giants, while Bush is a moron. Luckily, (or not so luckily) Bush has little to do in running this country. He's always been a straw boss under Cheney and the fear coalition.
