Why do people hate the US: is it because of "our freedom" or is it because we create dictators the world over?

Do people hate us for our "freedom", or because we created or supported a dictatorship in Indonesia, Nigeria, Cuba, South Kora, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Laos, South Vietnam, Iran, Portugal, Uganda, South Africa, Hawaii (Sanford B. Dole was "appointed" to Hawaii as it's military governor; you can imagine what happened next), Nicaragua, El Salvador, Pakistan, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guatemala, Brazil, Afghanistan, Iraq, Cambodia, Republic of China (Tawan), the Phillippines, Dominican Republic, Zaire, Honduras, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia--am I forgetting any?
