Is the University of West Florida considered a good college?

I am tossing up whether to go to FSU Panama CIty campus or the University of West Florida. I want to major in Social Work and I have been accepted to the program at UWF. Not sure about the school though. Is it any good? It seems really unknown for the most part so I am hesitant to commit to going there. I have hear A LOT of horrible things about it. I have also heard some good things about it. An old friend of mine who was going to UF transferred to UWF because of it's proximity to the gulf beaches and because of it's private school-like educational experience. It has small cl sizes and a very hands-on way of teaching. Their Social Work program requires numerous field placements, interns, practis, and other community service activities. Will this be a good school? I just ociate the unknown name of UWF to be...well..a crappy school. When I think of FSU I think good school! UWF? not so much...so any advice you have please share!
