Is my ex trying to make contact? I stood next to the road?

today waiting for a client and he came up the road and drove past me but stopped when he got next to my car. I saw him in the corner of my eye and pretended to be on my mobile and he then drove on slowly. Also, my one collegaue at work who works with his business, is on holiday. She told his business partner about this and I know the partner told my ex as I am sure he would not want to phone my colleague's phone and have me answer. But strangely enough, he did phone about 2 hours ago. This is the first time we've talked in about 2 1/2 months. I could hear he sounded almost shakey when he spoke to me and asked me silly questions about his work. I am also sure he had to know I had the phone because just after I answered it he asked if its Tania speaking. He then continued speaking even after hearing its me, which previously (our split was horrific) he would not do. He was not unfriendly at all and even said, see ya when he finished talking. Also, when I left the office for lunch he was busy parking in front of it. He knows what time I take lunch. I quickly jumped in my car and drove off. Maybe he was going somewhere nearby but he has not stopped at my office since the break-up. This all happened today. What's up with this or am I reading to much into it?
