How to sell my soul to the devil for guitar skills?

Ok, so I've been playing guitar for a while, and it takes so long to be great. Now we've all heard about people that have done this in the past and became guitar gods... so how exactly do you do it? Do I have to go to some crossroads in the south and do some ritual to summon the devil or something? Im a bit confused on the whole subject. Help?
