Why don't we do like the French people did to show discontent with their government?

Because of their dwindling economy and their governments inability to solve their problems, they took to the streets and pro-actively express their ire. We Americans suffering much more seemed indifferent, apathetic, subdued, puzzled, afraid, pacific, and totally submissive to the abuses, cheating and corruption of our government officials.
