Maiden name tattoo bad or good ?

I'm a girl , and my last name as you can see is Strahla . It's German , and I'm proud of my heritage and my last name is VERY uncommon plus I want my tattoo to mean something.. Even though if I ever ge married I know it will change but I still want too get it tattooed somewhere on my body in cursive .. Either on my wrist , down my side or on my back left hip .. What doo yu guys think ? And where do you think I should put it ? Thanks (: 10 points for biggest help .
