Is a ipod touch a good xmas gift for me?

hey my name is jeremy and im 14 years old and christmas is coming up p couple of christmas s i got stuff which were cool and i dont mean to be stingy for picky whatever you wanna call it. i appreciate what i get. i just wanna know im talkin to my dad about getting me a ipod touch. do you thing it is a good device and i love music browsing the web and all i just wanna hear opinion on how people like it thanks
