I still have cramps after I have ovulated?

im in a similar position i ovulated on the 12th and was getting cramps and back ache after a couple of days even now i am, my period is due tomorrow so praying it doesnt come and i get a positive test. ive been told its a good sign anyway. try and re-test in a few days, you dont always get a positive befre a missed period so keep trying until your period arrives if it does. also it sounds like you have a long luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) they say 12-16 days is normal and yours would be over 18 if you definately ovulated on the 9th which can effect pregnancy. if you didnt use ovulation tests to confirm you ovulated on the 9th then you may not have ovulated until maybe a week later and ts still too early for a positive result. if you arent pregnant and your period doesnt come you should speak to your doctor to make sure you dont have a luteal phase defect. good luck.
