I have a black timber wolf mate (male) on Wolfquest, what should I name him?

My wolf on Wolfquest is a black timber wolf too. It's a female and her name is Eclipse. I named my mate Ashfall for now, but I'm not exactly satisfied with it. I also have another question. My brother hunted a cow elk for about 20 minutes and caught it! Is catching an elk with your mate, the next quest? Plz give me some names and answers!
