Does anyone have any faith the human race?

If people didn't doe the earth would become over populated and our natural resources would be depleted quickly. The second thought would be if no one died why have children, without people having children the benefit of evolution and the fact that every new child is a betterment of the parents(usually). The existence of a cure to death is not only a horrible idea its just wrong naturally.
