Could Ron Paul win as an Independent in 2012?

As a long time Ron Paul supporter, I wish he could. But there are too many special interest groups out there with all the power, money, controls of the media and structure to make sure that this would not happen. Only crooked slick politicians can get elected. Ron Paul is too honest to have a wide voter appeal because people don't want to hear the truth.
